Knotted earphone cords are a common occurrence for me because I carry them around in my bag and don't wrap them up like I should.
I have multiple pairs for multiple purposes, but the ones I always return to are Sony's unglamorous but practical in-ear vertical headphones. They are cheap, fast and easy for me to put on because of a certain feature that differentiates them from the others: the cord is the easiest of any I've ever owned to untangle.
What makes these tangle less is the special, rubberized coating on the cord. The coating isn't limited to this specific model, but also isn't on most headphones I have purchased.
I primarily wear them while working from home because they block out a lot of distracting noise, but not everything; if my husband is trying to get my attention, he still can. I also wear them while working out because accidentally yanking on the cord doesn't pull them out of my ears like happens with earbuds.
The Sony MDR-W08 Headphones retail for $14.99.
Do you have any headphones you recommend that tangle less than the average pair?
