Most wall calendars are reprehensible, overdone train wrecks of either bad art with nice calendar layouts, or good art with bad calendar layouts. We avoid them.
About three years ago, however, we stumbled upon one that was different: a typographic wall calendar designed by the Pentagram design group.
Each month is laid out in a different typeface (the bio of the typeface creator is included), and the beauty of it lies in how much is missing, not how much is there. It is elegant, simple and large.
