Looking for more small-space solutions? Check out our Big Shopping Guide for Small-Space Living, which is packed with our favorite furniture, decor, hacks, and organizing and storage finds for maximizing every inch of every area of your home.

When you’re working with a small space, shopping for furniture, storage solutions, and even decor can be a challenge, especially if you’re hoping for high-quality items that will last. Luckily, you’re an Apartment Therapy reader, and small-space solutions are totally our bag — in fact, we’ve even created The Big Shopping Guide for Small-Space Living, a collection page featuring some of our favorite finds and hacks to help you maximize every inch of your home.

As it turns out, some of our favorite online retailers are “small-minded” too! Shops like West Elm, Anthropologie, Pottery Barn, and Walmart offer curated collections of furniture and home goods for the apartment dwellers among us. Shopping these collections is, personally, one of my favorite things to do in my off time, so I’m beyond excited to share them with you all. Whether you’re on the market for a sofa that actually fits or in need of a laundry hamper that doesn’t take up much floor space, these online shops have what you need… and lots you’ll just want.

From slender bookshelves to beautiful lidded storage bins fit to display, West Elm’s Small Space Solutions Collection has everything you could need for your apartment or tiny home. Outdoor and indoor goods serve a variety of climates and locations, so no matter where you’re based, West Elm has your tiny space covered. Literally. For example, consider the amount of space you’ll save by storing your clothes, linens, etc. in your bed frame versus a separate piece of furniture. See our picks of the best affordable West Elm sofas here.

If you’re decorating a small space on a small budget, look no further than Walmart, which carries a huge collection of furniture and decor for every area of the home. Murphy beds, cube storage, desks — you name it, they’ve got it. Available in black, brown, dark brown, and silver, this best-selling dining set for two is perfect for a studio apartment or a breakfast nook, and includes a shelf underneath for storing dishes, silverware, wine bottles, or cookbooks.

You may think of trendy fashion when you hear the name Urban Outfitters, but the retailer’s home section is one you shouldn’t underestimate. In fact, UO has its own dedicated small-space furniture collection called UO Small Spaces. Home to everything from small-space-friendly sofas and beds to storage solutions that’ll help your space feel that much bigger (like this mirror), be sure to keep UO on your list during your decor hunt.

Wayfair’s Small Spaces Collection is an especially great source for sofas, sectionals, and loveseats for homes with limited available space. Of course, it doesn’t stop there; Wayfair has it all, and every apartment dweller can almost be guaranteed to find something that suits their space. This 81.5″ sofa is a great seating option for small homes with mid-century modern style.

Like Wayfair, Bed Bath & Beyond is chock full of affordable furniture that makes storage, lounging, and decorating effortless. With fast shipping and the constant addition of new products, shopping Bed Bath & Beyond’s Small Spaces Collection never seems to get old. For those with modest outdoor spaces, this storage bench can keep the area tidy and serve as seating for multiple people.

Anthropologie is always a sure bet for beautiful decor that can double as storage, like these awesome stackable wire baskets. The retailer also has unique furniture in an array of non-standard sizes that can work especially well in tight corners or smaller homes overall.

For traditional, cozy home furniture for living areas, like cushy, neutral loveseats and desks for working from home, Raymour & Flanigan is a solid go-to. The retailer’s Small Space Living Room collection is stocked with everything you could need for your tiny home — with fast shipping and great customer service to boot. This shelved coffee table can visually create more space in any tight living area and even give you a chance to show off more of that rug you absolutely love.

Pottery Barn’s Apartment Collection, as well as the brand’s Kids and Teen sub-brands, is one of our favorite sources for small-space essentials. From chic loft beds to tiny desks, Pottery Barn has quality pieces that you’ll want to hang on to, even if you move from a small space to a larger home. This 36-inch writing desk is perfect for working from home if your home happens to lack extra home office space. Plus, it looks super chic and works well with a variety of decor schemes.

From (pink velvet!) sleeper sofas to low-profile accent tables, the folks at Apt2B are masters of making any small space a haven for shoppers keen on high style and value. Better yet, the chic retailer curates individual collections of furniture specifically suited to each and every room in your (tiny!) house, making it easy to target your search. Thic chic room divider can create a separate nook in even the tiniest space, giving a feeling a privacy while still keeping things airy and open.

Crate & Barrel is a solid source for storage solutions and luxury home decor, and the offerings they have for minimalists and those living in small homes are no exception. The brand also has a guide that can help you set up the most comfortable, stylish living situation in your small space. This little armchair looks like a micro-sofa and adds warmth and ambiance (as well as comfort) to small spaces — perfect for a studio!

Sofas might be the first thing that come to mind when you hear the name Ashely, but don’t overlook their expansive small-space furniture and decor collection. This modern two-door accent cabinet, available in white and dark brown, can help declutter an entryway or main living area, thanks to the ample hidden storage space (and adjustable interior shelf) that lies behind closed doors.

Vintage-loving apartment dwellers rejoice: 1stDibs has come through with its own curation of small-space furniture and decor from renowned designers or with storied pasts (or both!). Keep in mind that everything on 1stDibs is sold as an individual piece or is even one of a kind, so if you see something that catches your eye, snag it ASAP. This coffee table book displays pride in your minimalist home and is full of small-space design ideas.

Target regularly launches new home collections with its in-house brands and collaborations — Jungalow, for example — and many of these pieces can be found alongside affordable home essentials in the site’s Small Space Furniture collection. Here, you can find everything from slender entryway tables and side tables to bed frames and storage ottomans (like our pick above), and more.

AllModern’s Small Space Solutions section is a curation of, well, solutions for the small space. Modular sofas, beautiful storage baskets, and lean dining sets are just some of what you can find in this home goods retailer’s apartment living collection. Bar stools like this one from label Blu Dot are great for storing under a tall dining table or bar when not in use.
