Planning a vacation with more than four people is always a headache, right? A relaxing girlfriends getaway to Turks and Caicos somehow turns into a huge web of commotion as everyone attempts to coordinate dates, costs, etc.

Well, it looks like the days of major group chat chaos are behind us, as KAYAK has introduced Trip Huddle, a planning tool that helps ease the early stress of vacationing for the head planner-in-charge amongst your group of friends.

It’s user-friendly, and can be accessed and edited by all trip-goers—sort of like sharing a Google doc. Simply give your trip a fitting title (ex. Calling all gals: We deserve a break) and input options for the top trip components (destination, dates, and accommodations).

Afterwards, everyone can join the huddle and rate the options on a 1 to 3 scale, or even add a few suggestions of their own as you narrow down the ins and outs of the trip.

With this new gadget in place, KAYAK has given travelers a headstart by narrowing down the cheapest weekends for domestic and international travel this summer:

Domestic

  • August 25 – Median airfare of $305
  • September 1 – Median airfare of $312
  • September 8 – Median airfare of $311

International

  • August 18 – Median airfare of $613
  • August 25 – Median airfare of $607
  • September 8 – Median airfare of $609

I guess it’s true that all heroes don’t wear capes. Get started on your end of summer vacation planning by visiting Trip Huddle.
