Bicycles with a Little Character: Prints by Mike Joos

Because sometimes life calls for a bit of levity. Here are some pint sized art prints featuring favorite superheroes, fictional and real-life, riding customized bicycles. It's not mid-century modern, but it is darn funny. And sometimes you just need a little funny in your life.

I found these art prints by Mike Joos via Trend Hunter, and after having a spectacularly difficult day, seeing Franklin Roosevelt jauntily riding a bicycle of dime wheels made me laugh.

There's something to that, isn't there? Having little reminders in our lives that everything doesn't have to be perfect, that the ridiculous is sometimes just as engaging as the beautiful, and that sometimes you just have to laugh.

At only 5 x 5, these prints can easily fit on a work desk, kitchen counter, or bedside table. And we can all take a moment out of the day to giggle at Salvador Dali taking a spin on some melting clock wheels. Plus, if anyone would be into this concept, it would be Dali.

Check out Mike Joos' collection of handmade prints at his Etsy shop Line Draw.
