Big Blog Family Tree

Big Blog Family Tree

They come from Kansas, Tennessee, Idaho, Georgia, Oregon and Australia pitching tents in bedrooms, writing on the walls and translating outfits into decor. Creativity rules in their homes, their parenting approach and on their blogs, and that's why we keep going back for more.

Meet Aimee of Homespun-Threads: "The plus side to working hard on my blog is that when I go back and look at my past entries, I am touched by the memories my blog holds. My blog has been my best tool for organizing my life."

Meet Meg Duerksen of Whatever: "I want everyone to feel welcome; to put their glass on the table without a coaster, to put their feet up and want to stay. I like homes that look like you live there and that it has progressed over time with love and care."

Meet Rachelle Wilde of Kenziepoo: "I really enjoy the process of decorating a room, and the final result is my favorite, knowing that all your hard work paid off. I absolutely love to decorate, I love the fact that when you walk in my home it totally expresses who I am."

Meet Ali Edwards of Ali Edwards: "At this point in my life creating and making stuff is part of my full time job...I treasure the flexibility of working from home. My work day is a combination of business tasks and creative projects - sometimes all one or the other - but most of the time it is a combination."

Meet Ashley Johnston of Make It and Love It: "I only started [my blog] to log my projects that I was working on. I would take pictures and record what I was doing and write down ideas to work on in the future....just so I wouldn't forget. But then I just decided to make it public and open for everyone to see. And why not? The internet is bubbling with information. I just wanted to add a bit to that."

Meet the Marvelous Maddie of Li'l Magoolie: "I keep the posts bite-sized so busy Mums can jump on and get their dose of daily inspiration in the spare five minutes they have before heading off to do the millionth load of laundry."
