Big Tech in a Tiny Apartment

Small living isn't a bad thing &mdash there are more of us living in small spaces than large. With Small Cool over with, and the release of the Apartment Therapy's Big Book Of Small, Cool Spaces we're starting to pay more attention to well done offices and home theater setups in spaces that are thirsty for more square footage.

Lets face it, efficiencies are in every city and we're not sure why people hate them so much. We only see the positive when we look at small spaces &mdash lower rent, less furniture means less money to furnish and minimal space to clean! Sounds like a win-win to us.

Small space residents may have a hard time decorating and that's where the problem begins. That's why we take pride in showing as much inspiration as we can! There's a lot of tech that has been packed in this 274 square foot efficiency. Just because you have a small space doesn't mean you need to have small appliances and tech &mdash oversized or large items can actually make the space feel larger.

The medium size tv is offset by the larger painting hung above it on the credenza. The speakers are kept on the tall bookshelf to the side of the credenza where they aren't so obvious. The credenza and bookshelf are great space savers and we're sure they're packed full of home entertainment essentials.

The best part of this efficiency &mdash the tiny home office! The mirrors above the desk make the space look larger, and the simple white desk is a real space saver and some what camouflaged.

What do you think of this big tech in a tiny apartment?
