Get the Look of Billie Eilish’s Mid-Century Photoshoot

On May 19, Billie Eilish announced on Instagram she dropped a brand-new merch line for her upcoming album, “Happier Than Ever”. She produced an entire photoshoot to announce the drop, and her mid-century modern-inspired set is a mood — and a mood that you can easily recreate on a budget, no less.   

Shag rugs are a ‘70s staple that are making their way back into the mainstream. Eilish opted for a white shag area rug in her photoshoot, and there are tons like it available. On Wayfair, you can grab a 2’ x 3’ dupe for under $33.

And although Eilish’s mid-century style record cabinet looks like it’s an authentic vintage piece, Overstock sells a modern version based on that classic, clean look. Walmart sells a version of that white Tulip-inspired end table behind Eilish’s chess set. In fact, Walmart sells two sizes of this table, one is 42” round and the other is 31.5” round.

All you need to finish off the space is your collection of records and Billie’s Happier Than Ever sweatsuit, and you’re on your way to recreating Eilish’s photoshoot to a T. And bonus points if you can find a gold rotary phone.
