I find birch trees endlessly fascinating. As a whole, they are so tough and yet so fragile. They can stand through harsh winds and endure long winters, but the outer bark is so delicate. This time of year their leaves and buds are just starting to show. So as a spring ode to the Birch Tree, here are some lovely birch or birch-inspired handmade creations.

Our ode to the Birch Tree:

Vase with Carved Initials - The perfect anniversary gift, wedding present, or centerpieces, these vases with the initials remind us of falling in love in the good ole days. Lined with tin, Bragging Bags customizes these for any occassion. $22.50

Serving Trays - We thought this was the perfect addition to breakfast in bed, a birch bark tray! NH Woods Creations only uses dead trees for their work. $65

Baskets - These sweet handmade baskets are perfect for easter, decorating, and even planters for moss and succulents. These are also handcrafted by NH Woods Creations. $19

Prints - Etsy hosts an endless amount of talented screenprinters, Strawberry Luna being one of them. This piece is so sweet and she has renditions of it for each of the seasons. $25

Wall Decals - This design by NouWall is one of many wall decals that feature birch tree scenes. They are perfect for apartments with tall ceilings! $70

We have also seen this design translated to wall paper! Imagine a room filled with birch trees, well kind of anyways. Any other birch tree lovers out there?
