Birthday Idea: Hand Cut Invites For A Personal Touch

We love creative birthday invitations and these are no different. They were designed by the birthday boy's mom, printed at home and hand cut which takes something fun and makes it even more spectacular!

Cassie set to work to design invitations for her son's birthday party and although they were super cool to begin with — just look at that adorable illustration — she took them to a new level when she sat down and hand cut them as well.

The outer shapes were removed, giving them the look of a custom die cut card that could have cost several hundred dollars if they were ordered from a retailer. Even if you don't possess the same illustration skills that Cassie does, you can still glean a little something from her presentation. Cutting the outside gives them that something special and can easily be done while catching up on the latest episode of Parenthood!
