Page 124: The Domino Design Project highlights the transformative powers of design. The Woodycrest House, a 40-unit apartment building in the South Bronx has been give a total interior redo. It is home to families living with HIV/AIDS, and is now looking fabulous.
Eight designers took part in the project and donations of goods and services were generous. These are live-in apartments, not a walk-through fundraiser design house. We love that the style is high (even though many of the individual pieces used are budget-friendly) and the finished apartments are all about living well in small spaces.
Taking up a whopping 18 pages in the issue, the coverage of the apartment redesigns is super-complete. Additionally, Domimomag.com also covers it all in great detail - from photos (with links to every source - yay!) to videos of the process and interviews with the designers.
