Been up late at night wondering how you can save the earth on your next picnic? Don't worry—it happens to us, too.
NYT's The Moment Blog has some überstylish wares for picnicking green; most are plastic, so their green cred comes from being reusable. And most take quite a bit of old-fashioned green, though that doesn't mean we can't admire them.
Editor Andreas Kokkino recommended more than a few things we've blogged before here at Re-nest, such as the Bambu brand of tableware. Among the budget-busting options, we're especially smitten with these clever plastic utensils from Italian design house Pandora. They'll set you back $120 at New York City's Moss. And maybe the price actually reinforces the green qualities—at $7.50 each we're betting you'll work hard to keep them out of the trash!
