Since we were little kids, we've sought to create small places to retreat to: forts, backyard tents, tree houses. The homeowners featured in Seattle Homes and Lifestyles never let the dream go.
The shed above was built by Joanna Bracken and Jamie Corn to do what a shed does: store gardening supplies and bikes. But it also covers a little indoor garden of plants in raised beds, and looks so pretty that we wish they had chosen to make it a living space.
The shed above has the opposite effect: it looks like a shed on the outside, but the inside is done up with seating and displays of collections and art.
