Green with envy? Participants on reality shows always look so overjoyed when they're introduced to their new accommodations. Nine times out of ten we're not sure what all the fuss is about; frankly, dorm-style housing in a generic and cheesily designed 'loft' (read: soundstage) wouldn't exactly make us scream with delight.
Be that as it may, this season America's Next Top Model gives us a little something to grab our interest in the surroundings. The season was filmed in an eco-friendly mansion in LA, the green theme taken to a perhaps excessive level with a practice runway lined with tropical plants and bedrooms and common areas designed with plenty of wood and outdoorsy colors.
Other touches include a posted reminder to the contestants to take short baths, and the fact that they travel in a bio-fuel van with, apparently, grass growing behind the recycled rubber seats.
