While many of us are getting in the spirit of sprucing up our homes for spring time, online garden center Bloomscape just launched two new plant collections to make the process of plant selection that much easier.

Not that plant lovers need an excuse for a new purchase, but the greenery launch offers a pretty guiltless reason: it’s Bloomscape’s way of celebrating Earth Day and Mother’s Day. Whether you’re looking to show your appreciation for our lovely home planet or hoping to pick out a potted present for your mom, there are plenty of suitable options to choose from.

For Earth Day, customers can choose from The Aloe & Friend, Easy Peasy, and Pothos Collections as well as the Bamboo and Ponytail Palms line, both of which contain a variety of hardy houseplants.

Among the Mother’s Day plants are the Orchid Phalaenopsis, which Bloomscape lauds as a low-maintenance choice that’s perfect for beginner plant parents. (Consider reading up on tips to how to care for orchids if this sounds like the plant for you.)  Next up is the Polka Dot Begonia, which looks as festive as it sounds. With its stunning silver-spotted leaves, this pretty plant will bring a much-needed pick-me-up to any space. Then, there’s the String of Succulent Collection, which was specially curated by Bloomscape’s resident greenery connoisseur, Plant Mom. The line features three adorably small succulents—String of Bananas, String of Pearls and String of Pickles—all easy-to-maintain options to liven up your workspace or window sills. Plus, Bloomscape’s offering a plant-ish perk: Included in any purchase over $65, is a limited edition Mother’s Day pin by artist Hemleva.

Additionally, take a second to browse through the center’s recently launched Herbs and Veggies section for ideas on how to finally start that indoor garden you’ve always wanted.

Happy plant shopping!
