After a hard day at work, it's nice to come to a relaxing mood in your home. In order for you to accomplish this, you can modify your lighting to be more soothing. It's been proven that the colors that you see will have an affect on how you behave and feel. Just like how pets can help you relax after a hard day, so can soothing colors.

The Modula color therapy lamp uses three rings and a bunch of LEDs to soothe your disposition. What's even more surprising is that it can actually be controlled via Bluetooth. This means that you can use your cell phone to change the lighting and the colors to suit your mood. On the website, you can see a SonyEricsson phone controlling the lamp. With a Bluetooth dongle on your computer, you can also use that to control it. Also, most laptops comes with integrated Bluetooth, so they can also be used to control the lamp.

The designers mention that different activities require different lighting. With proper lighting, people will be more productive. Different moods can be created using the colors. The Modula lamp can be already pre-ordered over at the website. For now, there is only an EU 230V version available, but we're sure that other versions will follow shortly. The lamp will cost you about $280. We think that it is a unique light that will work really well in the bedroom and home office. The fact that it can be controlled by a computer and Bluetooth is really interesting. That being said, for that price, if you are interested in color-therapy and don't need a Bluetooth enabled lamp, we suggest trying cheaper alternatives.
