Book-Inspired Quilts

Most kids we know go through phases with books - obsessed with one for a few days or weeks, demanding repeated readings and then they move on to another one. But some kids have a book they never tire of. (You know the one - it's usually a bit dirty, sticky and often tattered and torn.) If you enjoy quilting, consider making a quilt inspired by your child's favorite book. Above are two beautiful ones made with love by Bethany for her nephews.

As you can see Bethany's beautiful quilts are inspired by Marcus Pfister's The Rainbow Fish and Eric Carle's The Very Hungry Caterpillar - two beloved children's books. Not only will Bethany's lucky nephews enjoy these quilts now, they are wonderful childhood keepsakes to have.

Thanks Bethany!
