Break Your Favorite Site with IE6ify!

Browsers have come a long way. When Windows XP shipped way back in 2001 there was no Firefox or Chrome. Instead majority of people put their trust in Internet Explorer. Unfortunetely, the version of IE that shipped with Windows XP was IE6. IE6 was prone to bugs, and never seemed to conform to the typical web standards. Imagine visiting your favorite site today (read: Unplggd) and not being able to read anything because the browser can't render the formatting. Well now you no longer need to imagine. With this fun web app you can take your modern browser back to the stone ages of IE6!

IE6ify is a fun little web app that helps you remember how frustrating web browsers like IE6 were. It also helps remind us of why we need web standards and why we should use browsers that conform to as many standards as possible. Additionally, IE6ify is just fun to use both as a prank and to entertain yourself while in the office.

IE6ify shows us how far we have come with modern web browsers. Just save the link to your bookmark bar and whenever you are sitting there wondering what this site would have been like 10 years ago, just give that link a click and you will find out (be sure to give it a few clicks for extra fun).
