The New Bright.Bazaar Furniture Collection is Seriously Impressive

One of the best parts of being a design editor is getting a sneak peek at upcoming furniture collections and products launches before they hit stores. One of the worst? Having to keep quiet about that news until it’s public knowledge—especially when it’s something particularly exciting.

So I’m truly jazzed that we can finally talk about the new Bright.Bazaar furniture line that just launched at grandinroad. Will Taylor, the blogger and creative behind Bright.Bazaar, came into the Apartment Therapy office about a month ago to debut the lookbook and give me and a few other editors a sneak peek at the line. We all fell for the fresh, Scandi meets Coastal collection—and have been waiting until we could share the collection with the rest of you.

The line is the first foray into product for Will, and features 40 products total, spanning everything from decorative accents like pillows and throws, to full-on furniture for your living room, dining room and beyond. The products start at $29, but nothing will set you back more than $1,000. And while the Bright.Bazaar blog may be known for bold, eye-catching colors, this collection is universal enough that the pieces can work in just about any home.

When it comes to inspiration, Will said he looked to two distinct styles: Scandinavian cool and Coastal comfort, which he translated into the collection.

“I’ve always looked to the colors, patterns and textures I’ve seen on my travels when seeking design inspiration,” Will told Apartment Therapy. “I took the same approach when developing the prints, sourcing the materials and designing the shapes in my first product line. The collection has a Scandinavian meets Coastal vibe, fusing the effortless ease and clean lines seen in Nordic design with the comfort of classic coastal elements that I’ve always loved.”

Maybe that’s why all four editors who got the sneak peek at this collection fell in love with the Aslund Sofa, despite having entirely different approaches to design. Its sleek shape and neutral color means it would mesh well with most design styles, while the touch of brass on the legs keeps it from feeling at all run-of-the-mill.

Those special touches are something Will hopes ignites a spark in customers that makes them feel excited about decorating their space.

“I love that feeling when I fall in love with a design and can’t wait to invite it into my home and make it my own,” Will said. “When I get that feeling, I smile. So I hope the collection makes other people smile, too!”
