"You're traveling through another dimension, a dimension not only of sight and sound but of mind; a journey into a wondrous land whose boundaries are that of imagination &mdash Next stop, the Twilight Zone!"

We're pretty blown away by the influx of memories this portable TV brings back. We remember when these gems were in their hay day and frankly, we're kind of psyched they're making somewhat of a comeback.

Designed by Richard Sapper and Marco Zanuso, the Brionvega Algol TV is a throwback to a different time. A time when people were absolutely glued to the TV and felt the need to have one everywhere they went. As the website mentions, not everyone could afford a full size TV back in the day, so portable was a great option.

We love the military green color and chrome handle pairing of this model, which also happens to be a limited edition piece. This little piece of technology is not only for sale (for 1500.00 €) but is also on exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum of Modern Arts.
