A new tree grows in furniture land. Informed by Richele over at ATLA, we just discovered that after starting up the stunningly successful West Elm, Lisa Versacio has jumped ship to start up Brocade Home for the Restoration Hardware empire. This could be the hottest second act in the shelter business this decade. If she succeeds, consider her a shoe in to bring back the NY Giants next season.

Brocade Home LOOKS a lot like Anthropologie crossed with Restoration Hardware. Think feminine, think romantic, think deep muted colors and curly furniture that could have been your great grandmother’s. As they say: “It’s the feminine home for the 21st century.”

Right now there is only a catalog and it looks like it is filled with an edited line of furnishings and a good number of accessories and lighting. No website. No Store. Check it out and give us the first reviews.
