You may have been reading the updates on the building of the Stacked Barn here, but in an effort to shamelessly support my daughter’s school I’m giving it away for one weekend after it’s finished. You too, could make history and sleep in the soon-to-be-iconic Stacked Barn. Or, should you prefer, you could have a guitar lesson from the iconic James Valentine of Maroon 5 fame. Read below about the live online auction that ends December 4th…

As a former elementary school teacher, beyond being a parent, I love the holiday season around schools. They are filled with high spirits, fairs, assemblies and bake sales. The Brooklyn Waldorf School is particularly good at busting it out, and is having its annual Winter Fair this Saturday in Bed Stuy, Brooklyn. The Silent Auction is a part of it and runs through the weekend.

Right now we’re just about 60% of the way to our goal of $25,000, an amount of giving which is entirely made up of donations and people “buying” them at the auction. There are 160 items up for auction right now, INCLUDING a weekend in The Stacked Barn. Check it out, help yourself and help this amazing elementary school. 🙂

Thank you, Maxwell
