February is Bedroom Month on Apartment Therapy! We’re sharing stories all month about bedrooms — from how to decorate them, to the fascinating history of them, and so much more. Head over here to see them all!

Finding budget-friendly bedroom furniture is a common decorating dilemma. It’s arguably way easier to cut costs in, say, the living room or dining room (with seating hacks, for example), especially when a bed frame alone can set you back hundreds. That’s not even factoring in a budget for sheets, pillows, and a mattress. Oh, and a potential dresser and nightstand, too.

Basically, the bedroom is often home to several big-ticket items. If you’re on the hunt for some stylish but wallet-friendly bedroom furniture, IKEA is, of course, always a great option. But if you’re looking to broaden your horizons, here are 10 other retailers offering budget-friendly finds for your sleeping (and potentially work and exercise) space.

See something you love from AllModern? Get it in an instant, thanks to their free, speedy shipping — we’re talking two-day turnaround time. A sister site to Wayfair, this AT favorite hits on just about every style note, from Scandi to mid-century modern. It leans especially heavily into the latter, though, so you can bring home the budget-friendly, clean-lined look in nightstand, dresser, desk, and bed form, if you’re so inclined.

Affordability and Ashley go hand in hand, and the Wisconsin-founded brand really has a little bit of everything: classic, industrial, modern, boho. In fact, there’s even an option to filter your search based on the specific look you’re going for. They’re a true luxe-for-less goldmine across all bedroom furniture (and general furniture) realms, but they have an especially great accent chair assortment.

E-tailer harmati has both an Amazon presence and its own site, where you’ll find furniture and decor that look like a West Elm-IKEA crossover at a fraction of the cost. The brand pairs modern designs with compact silhouettes, so everything’s made with function and small spaces in mind — from colorful rattan side tables with shelving (nightstand inspo!) to this foot-of-the-bed storage bench. Their current collection’s pretty pared down, but the assortment can’t be beat, especially considering it’s all priced less than $180.

If you’ve never scoped out Home Depot’s furniture selection, you’re missing out. This home center brand has everything from contemporary cane and pinewood platform beds to space-saving, wall-mounted bookshelves. Basically, if you want it, they probably have it — and at reasonable prices. Some of their most design-forward steals come from names like StyleWell and Home Decorators Collection, two of their in-house brands.

Overstock’s a discount-lover’s paradise fit for small-space dwellers. Their site has an entire section dedicated to petite pieces for any room, be it corner-sized desks, tasteful storage beds, or ottomans. There’s even a page highlighting trending deals, where you get a glimpse of all the ongoing offers in one place. You can also receive a 15 percent off coupon if you sign up for email updates.

Between the latest Studio McGee collection and the launch of their first organizing brand, Target’s inventory has been particularly next-level lately — prices included. The source of my own highly-coveted TV stand, this big box superstore excels in budget-friendly spinoffs of the latest home fads, even for the bedroom. Pro tip: If your work and sleeping space are one and the same, I’d also highly advise digging into their desk assortment specifically.

Prices for Urban Outfitters furniture can skew high, but the retailer’s my favorite one-stop shopping spot for slightly more affordable iterations of top trendy home fixtures. I’m a proud owner of the popular Marte Platform Bed and matching nightstand, a bedroom set that would most definitely set me back more at higher-end home stores. You can also score a particularly pretty low-cost headboard, too, and skip the whole bed frame splurge altogether.

You’ll be hard-pressed to find a more extensive, cost-effective assortment than Wayfair’s — they tout 22 million products from over 16,000 different suppliers. They’re also super transparent about shipping costs: Most items over $35 ship free, and you’ll know exactly which ones before you even add to cart thanks to clearly marked “free shipping” signs underneath each relevant piece. Some can even make their way to your home in just one to two days, which is also indicated online.

Attention, Walmart shoppers: It doesn’t get much better than free shipping and budget-friendly bedroom furniture. Seriously, don’t sleep on their surprisingly stylish farmhouse, mid-century, boho, or glam finds. In fact, I can’t even tell you how many home influencers I’ve seen on my social media feeds flaunting new pieces they’ve scored from the budget brand. Create your own Insta-worthy space with their Queer Eye collection designed by the Fab Five, or the must-see Gap Home collab.

World Market checks all the bedroom boxes in terms of style, price, and quality. That goes for side tables, dressers, and even rugs, but I really can’t rave about their beds enough. You’ll find glamorous upholstered bed frames galore (including options with under-bed storage), which look straight out of a hotel — minus the marked-up price. These come in fun printed options, too, like pretty florals or a soft pink tie-dye effect.
