We set our eyes on furniture that we wish we could afford every day. It's frustrating at times, but with a little creativity and sweat — we could make most of them. And that's exactly what Rix thought when he laid his eyes on a great reclaimed wood desk.
Rix Cerezo wanted a reclaimed wood desk, problem was, they are so expensive. So, he got creative and figured he would create his own. He knew to turn to IKEA, because they're always a trusty, inexpensive source. Thanks to sites like ours, and IKEA Hacker — we've all learned how easily they can be modified.
Rix took the VIKA ANNEFORS, VIKA LERBERG and the reclaimed wood he found and created this unique, one of a kind desk. He's right when he mentions that the wood really pops against the white legs, it looks rich and interesting. He simply used wood glue and clamps to attach the two! Sounds like a pretty easy weekend project!
