Do you believe this statement? We do. Based on what you all have said before when asked what phone is your "home" phone and whether or not to keep the landline it doesn't seem too far off. Coming out of a recent report from the Neilsen company, by the end of the year 1 in 5 households will be cell phone only. Why?

The main reason is to save some cash. Why pay for two things, when you are really only using one. In our opinion, a stronger reason is that you have all your important contacts and information stored in your cell phone which makes it easier to get in touch with the people you need to. Have you ever taken the time to program all of your most important contacts into a landline cordless phone? Have you ever used your cell phone to find a number and then called that number using a landline? Sent a text message via your home phone?
Vtech has tried to blur the line between home phone and cell phone but the tide is changing. We wonder how long before this number doubles....
