Q: Hey guys! I love the look of patterned accent rugs in the bathroom, but my boyfriend is worried that water from showering will destroy a rug not labeled as a bath mat. We currently have two small bathmats and neither has a grip on the back. What is the difference between a bath mat and some other type of rug? Has anyone had a non-bath mat ruined when used in the bathroom? Thanks so much! -Sent by Vanessa

Editor: Oooh, great question! I find myself very limited by the bath mat selection in my nearest Target...wait—hold the phone: Target actually has some jazzy patterned bath mats, my small town/rural Target is just subpar. This explains why the only ever seem to have four dresses. Anyway. Readers, what's the deal with bath mats? Please help Vanessa out!
