Carbon Fiber Desk: Hello, Office of the Future

Carbon Fiber Desk: Hello, Office of the Future

When we think "carbon fiber," the first images that pop into our mind are of sleek Formula One-grade vehicle parts or bike frames, but this is probably the first time we've ever seen it applied to the home furnishings department. Not that it's a bad thing. We imagine it match nicely with one of the many Star Wars-inspired dwellings we've seen here on Unplggd lately...

Paired with a nice leather chair, this futuristic looking piece will not only give you that executive look, but it'll take you one step closer to feeling like Darth Vader chillin' in his ivory tower.

Turkish designer Can Yalman's Hexa Desk from Nurus is made of woven composite, applied to both its base and desk surface. We imagine this kind of attention to detail doesn't come cheap, so don't get your hopes up. Unless, well... you own a Death Star and want something to match the walls.
