In a small space, versatility is key. A single room might be your living room, your office and your bedroom. The challenge is that just because your space is small doesn't mean your life is. Last week, your workload had you spreading out all over the floor. You got it done but your back is killing you. And while you love to give dinner parties, a dining room table just isn't in your space budget. Yeah, you could sling a piece of plywood over some sawhorses and call it a day but your taste (and your space) is a little beyond that. Which is where the Paperweight desk from comes in.

Here is cardboard that, unlike most cardboard furniture, doesn't look like cardboard but like something sleek, modern and much more appropriate to your well-appointed space than a box. With the legs pulled out towards the top's edges, it's a desk with lots of room to work on; push the legs towards the center and have your friends over for dinner. Company's gone, work's done? Break it down and slip it out of sight behind your couch or under your bed.
