Value : Sentimental
Casey tells us: I've long been a fan of all things mid century modern and when we bought our first home 2 years ago, a 950 sq. ft. cottage built in 1956, I finally...
... had an appropriate outlet for my passion. I began collecting Russel Wright dinnerware soon thereafter because I love the graceful shapes of the handles and the vibrant colors. It's far from rare and that's how I like it. It's not too expensive and quite durable; most of my pieces in my mix-and-match collection receive occasional light use. My first pieces of American Modern (including the juniper green teapot and chartreuse pitcher) were given to me by my style-conscious Grandmother (who happens to reside near the small town where it was manufactured), so the collection has sentimental value.
