Low Price, High Style: Target’s New Lighting Will Stop You In Your Tracks
Have you walked through the lighting section of your local Target lately? If you haven’t, let me give you a little update: What’s happening there is good. Lamps, pendants and chandeliers are one of those home decor items that are often—sometimes inexplicably—costly. I understand the higher price tags of handmade, artisan pieces, but mass produced big box store items…don’t get it. Which is why Target wins again in my book.
While on a quick errand last week to restock my depleted stash of lime La Croix (undeniably the best flavor, of course), I, as a devoted design lover, made my way to the home section and felt like I was watching a tennis match as my head moved back and forth from gorgeous lamp to gorgeous lamp. Some were riffs on older favorites (here’s looking at you, Crosby desk lamp), others totally new additions to Target’s lineup, all of which would have been welcome in my home (in fact, one got an official invitation and now resides on my media console; more on that later.)
It would be selfish of me not to share, because knowledge is power people, so, without further ado, I present to you my favorite picks all under $100.
