Chevrolet Appeals To Parents Through Nostalgic Toys

Chevrolet recently polled 1,000 UK adults and asked them what their favorite and most nostalgic toy was. The winner with 19% of the vote was Playdoh, so the company set to work using this household fun maker as a new marketing campaign — yeah, that's an entire car made out of Playdoh.

Chevy took aim at parents with this funny marketing ploy to help announce the release of their new Chevrolet Orlando. It's a family-friendly seven-seater car that looks like way more fun when it's all blue! Can you just imagine what it smells like? It would attract children and adults alike from miles around!

The construction of the car took 1.5 tons of playdoh and 8 model makers two weeks to construct and sculpt. The second and third runner up in the poll of favorite pastime toys were Legos and Kinder Eggs and although we can easily imagine a car made from Legos.... we would have really liked to see a toy-filled car with a chocolate shell!
