Child-Size Snow House
“How’d you spend your snow day?”
“We made some cocoa and watched a movie. How about you?”
“Oh, we made a thatched snow house using traditional masonry techniques with 600 snow bricks. That’s all.”
This is the conversation you might have if you lived next door to two architects.
Allison wrote in to share this terrific snow house – a family project which also included her husband and his parents. And, as you can see from the photos, her infant son was delighted sitting inside it. The snow house took them about six hours to build and, I wasn’t kidding, 600 snow bricks. Wondering how they made it and their trick for making snow bricks? Visit Allison at Gimme a Kiss for the lowdown.
