Chrissy Teigen Recommends Gifting These Candles to the Dog Parents in Your Life

Mom-of-two Chrissy Teigen knows that “being a mom is equally amazing annnnd hard,” as she expressed in a recent Instagram post dedicated to shopping small for Mother’s Day. And that applies to both mothering human children and furry friends. Teigen recommended a few gifts for pet parents in a Mother’s Day gift guide she crafted with her mother Pepper, which includes a set of bulldog candles that are definitely too cute to ever burn.

“To show appreciation to the moms (or anyone special in your life) please enjoy my latest gift guide!” Teigen wrote in the caption of an April 28 Instagram post. “I’m lucky enough to live with my mom, Pepper, so we pulled together some of our favorite things — like her new cookbook, Thai spices, and even a few things for pet parents out there. My hope is to make your life easier and support some of these amazing small businesses.”

In a corresponding blog post on her Cravings website, Teigen linked to the Etsy shop IFoundYouStore, owned by El Segundo, California-based artist Kate Lomteva. “In honor of my obsession with bulldogs, I present to you these adorable, handmade bulldog-shaped candles,” Teigen wrote in her blog post. While it’s too late to get them in time for Mother’s Day, they’re a cute gift for any occasion.

Lomteva sells a variety of different animal-shaped candles. She has a few Shar Pei candle varieties as well as a poodle. And because these things are so darn cute, you won’t be judged for buying one for your favorite dog mom and one for yourself.
