5 Dream Nurseries for Chrissy Teigen’s New Baby

As Chrissy Teigen announced on Twitter, her son with John Legend is “herrrrrrre!” and the Internet is basically losing it with excitement. And while most people are focused on learning the new addition’s name, we can’t help but focus on something a little more design-y: his nursery.

Unfortunately, it will probably be ages before we get a peek at what I can only assume is the world’s coolest nursery. So while we wait with bated breath for that fateful first Instagram, we’ll just be imagining the family—with Luna too—nestled up in one of these dreamy bedrooms.

To be quite honest, all of me loves all of this room. The bold graphic elements—from the striped rug to the triangular wall decals—add a undeniable sense of cool, while the menagerie of stuffed animals keeps the space baby-friendly.

While pale blue walls may be the typical choice for a baby boy’s nursery, this family is anything but typical. Dark, moody walls and rustic touches are much more befitting of the world’s newest “it” infant.

If this little babe is anything like his dad, an interest in music is sure to pique early, so a striking red piano is the perfect choice. It gets bonus points for being adorably small too.

Most parents would use the letter board in this room to leave their babies meaningful or inspiring messages, but we can so see Chrissy Teigen infusing messages with her particular brand of snarky humor… until John comes along with something more poetic, that is.

This nursery may read a little too retro at first, but considering Chrissy had a Pan Am-themed 32nd birthday, it could actually be the perfect fit. Plus, John’s soulful voice does harken back to an earlier time.

No matter what design direction they decide to go, one thing is for certain: this is one room that will be full to the brim with love.
