Who wants a clean house? It seems that lately I've been watching a whole lot of Clean House, the personality-filled organizing and decorating program on The Style Network.
Niecy Nash (of Reno 911 fame) and her cohorts help severely cluttered places regain their functionality by ridding homeowners of extra stuff, and usually not without a fight. In each episode, a yard sale helps raise money to put back into new interior designs. The subjects are also forced to get in touch with the causes of their foolish behavior so as not to repeat their same mistakes in the future.
We're not talking high style here, but Mark Brunetz does his best to give people what they want and need within a very limited budget. The transformations are always so exciting to watch as they unfold. Add cheesy jokes, lots of cleavage, a hunky go-to guy, and a genteel organizing diva to get one very amusing hour of television. It gets me in just the right mood to tackle my own projects at home.
Check out some before and after shots from the show, and if you could use more cleaning, painting, and decorating in your life, watch the show weeknights at 10pm on Style.
