The whole point of a tiny home is to cut down on size, but still have an optimal living space, right? Many tiny home designers have to get creative when making the layout of their home. But they don't always manage to include interior designs that everyone would enjoy. Not this little coastal tiny home, though. The Coastal Craftsman has got you covered on the interior design vibes.
The Coastal Craftsman is a tiny home designed by Handcrafted Movement and you're going to want to move in ASAP. (Sorry, it has been bought already, though!).
Handcrafted Movement is a Washington-based company that "was born out of a desire to pursue excellence and creativity. This is about more than just creating products. This is about questioning the status quo and finding a more excellent way in all that we put our head, heart and hands to. This is about playing a part in the rebirth of American quality, ingenuity and pride in manufacturing."
The company has been featured on HGTV, Curbed, Country Living, Architectural Digest, Today, and more.
The Coastal Craftsman is just 238 square feet. When you hear that number, it sounds impossible to actually live in something so small. People scoff at apartments that are 500 square feet, so, how can anyone fit their possessions and family into something half that size?
Tiny homes are a mystery, but the Coastal Craftsman manages to give the illusion of space while still packing on the interior design. The flooring is distressed oak hardwood, while the dining room table is reclaimed walnut, and there are walnut accents around the home.
Just because the Coastal Craftsman is small doesn't mean that you'd be living simply. There is a built-in coffee counter, a bathroom vanity, an electric fireplace, and a pretty spacious closet with a hanging rod.
