Coca-Cola...the stain remover?

Here's an interesting trick we just heard from a soda loving friend: Coca-Cola can be used in a load of grease stained laundry (alongside regular detergent) to help loosen tougher stains. The acidic nature of one of its main ingredients, phosphoric acid, makes the drink a stain fighter.

We'd recommend you to give this a try on your most disposable of clothes; we're going to try it next time with our car wash and household rags, and switch out regular Coke with the Coke Zero (because our laundry is watching its weight too), just to be on the safe side.

You can also use Coke to loosen rusted bolts and help remove stains on the driveway or garage. It's a bit scary that I drink a couple cans of this acidic drink daily....
