Pretty Pastels + Bedroom = Sweet Slumber

There are a lot of theories about how color in the home affects us. There are debates about warm tones versus cool tones or which colors are stimulating and which are relaxing. The bedroom is an area where this becomes particularly important.

You want bedroom colors to encourage rest and relaxation while at the same time reflect your personality. After all, the bedroom is arguably the most personal room of the house.

Choosing to work in pale, muted versions of your favorite colors allows you to create a peaceful zone, without limiting yourself to shades of blue. Pastels are united by shade and tone so you can create a cohesive, unified, and peaceful feeling without sticking to a strict color scheme.
