It's been in the works for a while, but now it seems like ColorWare is about ready to ship customized HDTV that will perfectly match the decor of your new living room. However, just like many other ColorWare customizations, don't expect it to come cheaply.

ColorWare is well-known for providing an alternative to getting your gadgets, anything from iPhones to iPads, customized in great splashes of color. Now, the company finally seems ready to furnish customers with custom HDTVs, that will match your new pad perfectly.

Just like all ColorWare customizations, this doesn't come cheaply. Also, you can't send in your current set to get colorized. It's definitely a possibility if you're looking for something really unique. However, in most cases, we'd simply suggest getting the right HDTV for your living room. It's true that most HDTVs are black and look alike, but it's hard to justify the premium price that ColorWare will be charging for this device.

They charge about $500 to fully customize an iMac, $400 for an iPad, so our guess that an HDTV will be around the same price, if not slightly more expensive. If you're still interested, you should check out their website and send them an email for further information.
