Since it's Color Month here at Apartment Therapy, and Designers Guild is an international authority on using bold color in the home, it seemed fitting to attend the release party for Tricia Guild's latest book, Colour Deconstructed, during London's Design Festival last week.

Tricia Guild hosted a packed house at her flagship store in London's posh Chelsea neighborhood for the launch of her latest book, Colour Deconstructed. With this new book, Tricia Guild aims to unlock some of the secrets behind her style and use of vibrant colors.

The fanciful sculptural work of Kathy Dalwood will also be on display at the Kings Road store until the end of the month. 'Secret Society — A Sculptural Banquet' is an installation featuring a curious cast of sculpted characters created out of everyday objects covered in plaster. The colorful setting of the Designers Guild shop provides the perfect backdrop to Dalwood's monochromatic work.
