This Company Will Actually Pay You to Take Naps

How many times have you wished that you could get paid to take a nap? If we counted on a Monday, that number would be pretty high. Well, it looks like this is actually an option for some select people! Mattress Firm is going to pay their interns $200 to take naps.

This is a sweet deal for people looking to gain experience, make money, and take naps. It is basically the dream internship for college students! Seriously, where was this internship when we were in college?

Mattress Firm is looking for their first-ever “Snoozetern.” The intern will work a 20-hour work week for $200. For an intern, $10/hour is pretty decent. Their job duties will focus around testing the mattresses by taking naps. On top of that, the intern will also review the mattress on the company’s social media. They will also create video content about their sleeping experiences and host Facebook live events for Mattress Firm. They’ll even be in charge of creating dreamy posts for Instagram!

This internship is based on Houston, Texas, so sadly, only a select few will actually be able to apply for this. The qualifications for this internship require a bit of experience. The intern will need to be proficient in video editing, using programs like Animoto, iMovie, Adobe Spark. It’ll also be a big plus if they have an interest or any experience in different textures, sleep positions, and napping.

In order to be considered for this internship hopeful candidates had to create a video explaining why they’d be a perfect fit for the gig and fill out an online form by July 27, 2018. They also need to be 18 years or older. The top three candidates videos will be uploaded to Instagram and Mattress Firm’s followers will be able to vote for their favorite until August 10.
