Designer Guy Eddington won us over awhile back with his reader's all-in-one compact reading space/storage, Library. Now he's back with a similarly executed multi-functional solution, influenced by midcentury era console stereos, but equipped with modern audio features such as MP3 player compatibility, integrated lamp lighting, two satellite speakers, subwoofer and plenty of storage, all wrapped in a beautiful high-gloss white automotive lacquer and beech timber finish.

Designer Guy Eddington describes his design:

'Listen' is a low storage unit which discreetly integrates a simple stereo system. The stereo system consists of two satellites, a subwoofer and a control unit, and is compatible with all popular MP3 players. The unit is made predominantly from MDF finished with high-gloss white automotive lacquer, solid beech timber, speaker cloth and stainless steel tubing. The unit also contains a lamp, covered with a small lime-green fabric lampshade, which is suspended over the unit.

Describe it any way you want, Guy...we love it for it's home audio utility and decor amplifying presence (the lamp is such a brilliant touch).
