We're constantly blown away by all of the amazing, talented designers out there, and seeing products such as these really keeps that fascination alive. We're appreciate great design that is infused with functionality.

Constance Guisset is a Paris based product designer and is a recent graduate of ENSCI design school. She is recently most well known for her Dancing Chair — a modern version of a rocking chair that is made from ribbon-like pieces of wood. The fluidity of the pieces of wood, craftsmanship, and over all shape of the chair is truly inspiring.

She's also pretty well known for her Tri3 - a sorting garbage can. The can has 3 pedals that open each compartment. The first pedal opens the top layer in the traditional way and is used for general discarding, the second pedal swivels the middle compartment to the side and can be used for plastics, and the third pedal pushes the bottom compartment towards you and can be used for glass and bottles.

Another great item item from the imagination of Constance Guisset is the Fiat Lux. An interactive light fixture that uses the force of a magnet to turn the light on and off. A magnetic ball plays the roll of the light switch and when moved to the base of the lamp it turns the light on. Simply move the ball to the side of the lamp and the light goes off.
