Design: Container Ten-71
Materials: powder coated steel
Designer: Stacy Binns and George Bennett

"I (Stacy) couldn't sleep. I kept thinking about this shape which would make a wonderful planter in any size. The sides of the vessel stand out enough to make it available for little plants or moss growing out the sides like a seed in a brick wall. I took a drawing to my favorite sculptor/steel roller, Adam Gale, whose large arms and good sense of humor always gets the job done."

"He cut, welded and rolled a 10' strip of steel based on George's cut drawings, tacked it and welded the base on. Off it went to the powder coater and voila it was ready for Fringe Studio's first furniture and accessories show here in SF.

Easy, right?"
