A few hours west of London lies the most charming glamping rental in the Shropshire Hills of England. This converted chapel is only accessible by foot, but it’s worth the trek as it’s incredibly charming. Outside, it’s painted a rustic teal color with classic red doors and features original gothic windows and a steeple. Indoors, the house is full of whimsy.

The open-plan living area is full of restored furniture with reclaimed wood and rustic touches, like cozy chairs perfect for curling up with a book or a cup of tea (or both)! There’s a television and DVD player, but take comfort in the solace and seclusion of the rental, as reception isn’t always reliable. The kitchen also comes fully equipped, and there’s even a washing machine. The lower level also has a bathroom and shower, while the decadent spiral staircase that looks straight out of a fairytale will take you to the bedrooms, which each have double beds covered in cozy quilts.

Four guests, plus pets, can fit in this rental and enjoy all that the home and area has to offer. The surrounding grounds include a lake, two natural pools, and an Arboretum that is also known as botanical gardens. Local activities include fishing, boating, horseback riding, hiking, biking, canoeing, rafting, and even taking hot air balloon rides with Virgin Balloon Flights.

History buffs will also appreciate the sites at places like Stokesay Castle, a 13th-century manor, and Worcester. For local entertainment, there’s a supermarket and many small antique shops, plus local breweries and pubs for a fresh brewed ale. Bookings are typically less than $350, depending on the night, and see can see more on the Glamping Hub listing here.
