We all love our homes to have some personality that reflects a little bit of our individuality. Why shouldn't birdhouses be the same?
Like what you see? These birdhouses and more (over 70 in all) will be up for auction at next week's Birdhouse 2010 auction benefitting Chicago's A.N. Pritzker School. And in the days leading up to the auction, look for them on display in shop windows about town. Each house was designed and built by a local artist, architect, or Pritzker School students.
The auction is being held on Saturday, May 22, from 6 – 10 p.m. at Wesley Kimler's Studio, 2046 W. Carroll Avenue. Tickets to the event are $30 in advance / $35 at the door and includes open bar and appetizers. Advance tickets and more photographs of these artistic birdhouses are available online at friendsofpritzker.org.
