We decided to take a look back at all the innovative and independent options that wanted us to clean better, sleep better and drink better in 2017.

After a new study came out to tell us that our towels are basically never, ever clean, these Kickstarter towels started looking mighty, mighty good. Silvon towels are made with organic cotton and then coated with silver, helping them ward off bacteria.

Cleaning the toilet is just one gross, unavoidable bathroom chore. This Kickstarter for SpinX got us daydreaming of the day when we would no longer have to pick up a toilet brush for a sparkling clean (and hygienic) bathroom.

Sleep anxiety, the disastrous effects of lack of sleep, getting more and better sleep — all hot topics of 2017. The Somnox robot is a cuddly little bean designed to help stressed out and tired folks get a good night’s sleep.

The HomeBiogas 2.0 combines green living with modern technology. After collecting your food scraps (aka composting) the HomeBiogas turns the scraps into cooking gas (they claim up to 3 hours worth a day) and fertilizer for your garden with shocking speed.

This Kickstarter, from a German tech company, is a water filter that not only filters out the things that traditional purification systems miss, it adds natural minerals back into the water.
