Hardware Store Chic: DIY a Nicola Golfari Chair

Recently on HGTV's Design Star, they visited a restaurant supply store to shop for home decor. It's not your usual place for such things, so when this chair made from an anti-fatigue mat popped up today, it was the first thing we thought of. Want a chair your pets can't chew through? All you have to do is make one!

This chair was made from hardware store materials, chrome and all. There's no welding involved, just a bit of know how. All you'd have to do is haul things home and assemble. They've used zip ties to hold things together above and you could easily do the same. It's fresh and sturdy beyond belief, though we're pretty sure it will be a pet hair magnet.

Even if it's unconventional, it's still a great way to get a custom, modern piece of furniture at a small price and earn your gold star for a little diy! Do you love the look? Not so sure? Let us know in the comments below!
