Cork Bath Mat at Gaiam

The bath mat in our bathroom is a pretty nondescript oatmeal-colored square of fluffy carpet, with some sort of rubbery backing. We’ve had it for quite some time and it’s getting pretty gross. So we’ve been shopping around a bit, and just noticed this cork bath mat at Gaiam.

The large cork bath mat ($42) is quite bit more expensive than the carpet-like bath mats we typically buy at Target. However, cork is a pretty fantastic material — it’s renewable and anti-fungal. It apparently dries quickly and it’s FSC-certified.

Is it worth the price tag? What do you think?
