There are those who love Costco, and then there are those who really love Costco—enough to track its deals and share the news of discounted vacuum cleaners and flats of crackers with everyone they know. Costco97 comes from this latter crowd.

Unaffiliated with Costco, Costco97 is a website that tracks and shares Costco deals, especially those that Costco hasn’t advertised itself. It’s a place for wholesale club evangelists and deal-hunters to scope out sale offerings before making the drive to their local store.

Why the name Costco97? The site explains, “Any product sold at Costco that has a price that ends in .97 is one that is on clearance and probably won’t be sold again in the store once sold out. Costco does not advertise these sales and they vary from store to store and region to region.”

Costco97 also explains that it gets its intel from Costco shoppers around the country. (You, too, can spread the word about deals you find in-store here.) Along with posting shoppers’ finds online, Costco97 also sends out thrice-weekly newsletters to subscribers so you stay up-to-date on the latest .97 finds.

The website also includes other resources for Costco fans, including a clearance calendar that maps the sale patterns of seasonal products, and other tips for saving money. Costco97’s social media accounts appear not to be updated past mid-2019, but the site itself still features updated deals from as recently as today.
